[Takuto: Chapter 1]

far away from being a complete animation

this was more like a animatic that you had to manually play through or a comic still in the rough stages...the animation itself was minimal and the sketchy style came off looking unfinished instead of being a chosen artistic style..and there was not enough background music so it was pretty boring reading most of the dialogue...

the story seems interesting enough..this series seems to have a lot of potential but like I said it looks too unfinished right now. at least try to spiff up the drawings..maybe do a little more animation with the characters like more facial expressions and other simple things..it would add a lot.

I understand with the not enough background music. A lot of times throughout Chapter 1 it seems like it's a bit empty ambience-wise.

despite how bad the movie was it was still quite entertaining visually....this vid summed it up pretty well...

and after i saw the second one and though "WAIT. there's gonna be another one!?" but then i read an article quoting Michael Bay saying he didn't intend to make a third one B: but maybe after he sees how much money this film has made he'll change his miiiiiiinnnnd!

funny stuff

"your playing with fire!" "I GOT A HOSE!!" was my fave part hahaaaaa... the animation wasn't perfect but the characters were done nicely and the skit was hilarious.

It wasn't bad at all! i mean the animation wasn't PERFECT, but the thing you got down pretty well were all the running and walk cycles for the kitty..and the story was fun and cute! great work!

Captain Capitamism is always fun

the anime spoof was rendered so nicely..and the rest was very entertaining as well. good stuff.

pretty good!

yeah the buildings were so small you couldn't see all the detail..you could have zoomed in and panned through the town so you could see things up close more, but overall it was a nice little animation! simple idea/concept but it was done well. :)

Yea. I was really torn when I realized that all the detail wouldnt be seen... but when I tried what you are talking about it started to look flat. I'd have to redraw all the houses in different perspectives if I wanted that effect.

I didn't read the description until after I saw it but I could tell it was rotoscoped..but it did have that "cheap" rotoscoped effect because of the style you applied to it turned out really nice and really enhanced the mood of the story. so yeah overall it was a really nice piece.

Yeah, the rotoscoping was really just for the line drawing and the main keyframes, then I'd render the drawings with more detail and inbetween them. There's only so much you can get from bad video footage. :)

really fun concept! I used to be able to quote every word in the mission were the bomb is planted at the base and you have to fight Starwolf and his cronies..and the "Its quiet..too quiet" is prolly my favourite quote over "DO A BARREL ROLL" haaa..and i too would randomly use quotes from that game in my everyday dialogue...

I stopped reading Naruto like a year ago shortly after Jiraya died...cos i was just losing interest in it....i'm still curious to see what the final showdown between Naruto and Sasugay would be like but eh, whatever i don't really care anymore so this was amusing...the ending cracked me up hahaha

wow what a trip... but i love freaky surreal art stuff like that so i enjoyed it. great work! it be awesome to see those monsters in a painted style like Dali and other famous surrealists work...i'll check out your website...

Sadly I've never learned to paint or color outside a computer, I just do a whole lot of pencil art :)

I want to get good at coloring one of these days, though!
